Charles Robert Darwin, naturalist and biologist, travelled during 5 yeas around the world, passing by South America Islands, Australia and New Zeland. Discovered numerous species of plants and animals, and it's brougth recognition as geologist and writer.
Wrote 2 books, one of them was "On the Origin of Species" and it talks about the evolution from a natural selection of common ancestors. The other was "The Descent of Man, and Selection in Relation to Sex" it manifest the ideas about the human race arise.
His 2 books generated several debates and controversy in the period, because of the Creationist theory.
With Alfred Wallace, (that reading the manuscripts of Darwin, discovered they wrote basically the same thing) published the "Evolution Theory".
